In case it’s new to you, the Carnival of Evolution is an aggregation of links to interesting stories about biological evolution from around the blogosphere. It’s hosted by a different science oriented site each month.
This month it can be found at Genome Engineering:
The focus of Genome Engineering is – quite obviously – the engineering of the genome. So what does that have to do with evolution, I hear you say? Evolution has been driven by genetic changes, both small and large, and the natural engineering of the genome has a lot to teach those of us who want to engineer in – ahem – a less ‘natural’ way.
Admit it. It's much more interesting to learn about evolution than to read another post about some religious fanatics trying to deny it that it exists.
Unfortunately, I never seem to run out of those.
